The rain in Spain lies, well, to be honest, everywhere!!!!

It hasn´t stopped raining for the best part of two days.

I suppose I can´t really complain as it hadn´t really rained since June (Those who saw me last week, will have observed how my tan pays testament to this (Ahem!). For those who didn´t think Milky Bar Kid!!!!), but this isn´t supposed to be a sub-tropical climate. Makes a nice change for the Weatherman though, who, I am reliably informed, has been the same man for the past 20 odd years.

Funny how they never mentioned that as a possible career option, but then they never do. The machine at school always came out with fabulously interesting possibilities such as antique dealer. Now, I ask you, how many 16 year-olds think about becoming an Antique dealer!! And all this in the days before David Dickinson... But, at any rate, not really sure that modern languages is that conducive to doing the weather. Zer iz uh estorm comink een frum ze ouest.Eet weel bee veri ot tomoreu!!!

But anyways, (can someone explain to me why the Yanks insist on putting an S on that word?) speaking of work, things seem to be going well at the moment. Although I don't like these unpaid preparation hours very much, and consequently don't seem to have many of them, but I think that that will change as the stuff gets harder for the students and I am expected to know what I am doing...

I have opened a bank account... The fun never stops!! This is yet another argument in favour of ID cards. You don´t have this whole farce of having to show utility bills, that we have in the UK. Who on earth decided that you can only have a bank account if you use electricity!!! Discrimination against the homeless if you ask me. Ok, I digress, but you have to admit it´s quite a silly form of identification!!!

BECKHAM UPDATE!!! Not that you really need one, due the papers, but apparently, they tried to park on the pavement outside the Hard Rock Cafe, so that Posh wouldn´t get her extensions wet, and the Police came and they were having none of it!!! Another Champions league win last night. Quite good too. I am currently living with Brazilians and Frenchies, so you can imagine which side they were rooting for...

And!! I finally got a Frenchmen to admit that the French generally don´t like football, except, of course, when the National Side is Championne du monde...
